I forgot the sql code to add this to the db. If you’ve already modded your files, you’ll beed to add the column to the blog table. It’s the first snippet in the code section below.
I’ve put together a hack for b2evolution that pings www.pingomatic.com, a service that forwards pings to many other ping services. I did this because I wanted to get our site a lot of exposure, and this automated it all for me.
Be advised, this hack modifies core files and the database, proceed at your own risk. I make no written, expressed or implied guarantees. I will not fix your site if you bork it up. (All you’d need to do is re-download the files from b2evo and re-upload them though…not too bad.)
