I stumbled upon a hack for wordpress that replaces the actual post time with a ‘time of day’ verbiage and ported it over to b2evolution. The modification is rather easy.

EdB showed the b2evolution community how to use magpieRSS to fetch rss feeds and incorporate them into your blog. He put a neat little weather block on his, and I toyed with it and am using it on my site. I made a few tweaks to it to get the XHTML to validate and then he did as well and released a complete hack for b2evolution. Now if I wanted to aggregate news from any other site and incorporate it into our’s, I could. Thanks Ed!
